Our Programs
Camel's Hump Nature Center and Friends of the Johnston have numerous programs and opportunities to get your child outside and experiencing the benefits of a nature-based education. Click on the images below for more information and check back often. We are always seeking out and adding new programs to engage more families.
Nature-based Progams
Children ages 3-5 are outside daily exploring the 135 acres of farm, forest and ponds, discovering local plants and trees, and interacting with both our farm animals and native animals including birds, butterflies, frogs and small mammals.
Family Programs
Coming soon! Opportunities for parents and caregivers to join their children on an interpretative hike, birdwatching expedition, or learn fun activities that get everyone outside and much more! If you are interested in leading a family program, let us know your thoughts on our volunteer form.
